Pay Back the Money You Owe Taxpayers!
It has been more than 2 years since a judge ordered Jennifer to pay back the City of Bell Gardens but she refuses to do so!

Isabel Guillen and Michael Reveles have aligned themselves with Jennifer Rodriguez. Ask them how they could join someone with such a checkered past.
In addition to being removed from office, in February of 2022 the Court ordered Jennifer to pay the taxpayers over $29k in salary and benefits that she illegally collected over the 150+ days that she failed to attend council meetings and perform her sworn duties.
Jennifer has yet to pay or respond to the City's demands for payment and the City has had to file a lien on her property in an attempt to collect on the debt.

Jennifer Rodriguez claims Civic Responsibility and that she is always accessible BUT she was removed from her previous stint on the City Council by a Superior Court Judge because she failed to attend meetings for a total of 5 months over the course of one year.
Jennifer claims that she was too sick to attend meetings citing a family and mental health crisis but never presented proof to the Court or the City when they asked her to do so. During that time Jennifer was seen out and about at the gym, at her daughter's performances and with Toby Sandoval with whom she was having an affair.
Jennifer Rodriguez has claimed that she is the voice of working people and lists Affordable Housing as one of her priorities, however, an email obtained by BASTAJENNIFER.COM indicates otherwise.
The email states that Real Estate Investor Matthew William Guerra and his allies identified 3 candidates running for the Bell Gardens City Council in 2022 that were "in favor of removing the new Bell Gardens Rent Control". The email was soliciting donations from the Real Estate Industry on behalf of JENNIFER RODRIGUEZ, JOSE CRUZ, and STEVE FIGUEROA.
The email instructed donors on how to make donations and included information of the Rodriguez, Cruz, Figueroa Team's 2022 Campaign Manager, Hans Fritz. Fritz is a long time ally and employee of Former Downey Mayor, Republican Operative and Trump Supporter and Real Estate mogul MARIO GUERRA.
Jennifer has voiced her opposition to the cannabis industry on several occasions and has accused councilmembers of "selling" themselves to the industry, but HER OWN campaign finance reports for the 2020 and 2022 municipal elections show that she received thousands of dollars from cannabis operators.

Jennifer Rodriguez likes to tout herself as a community leader and organizer but where has she been since she lost the election in November of 2022? She did not appear until recently as the face of the Anti-Cannabis Movement in Bell Gardens. She portrays herself as the "anti-drug" moral authority in Bell Gardens but she has a track record that demonstrates the opposite.
In addition to receiving money from cannabis operators, the Rodriguez family has a history of ties to the illegal drug market. Jennifer’s husband, Gerardo Rodriguez, co-owned an illegal marijuana dispensary in Santa Fe Springs. Mr. Rodriguez purchased marijuana flower on a weekly basis from an unlicensed grower from late 2009 to early 2011 to stock the shelves at A&G Collective located at 8807 Pioneer Blvd. During the 2020 campaign for office Jennifer was confronted with these allegations and failed to address them.
Jennifer’s husband, Gerardo Rodriguez, also began a consulting business which catered to cannabis operators that were looking to obtain licenses in the cities of Cudahy and South El Monte using contacts that he made through his wife Jennifer who was a councilmember at the time. Mr. Rodriguez attempted to aid in the extortion of $15,000 from an operator along with a Cudahy official who was sentenced to 3 years in federal prison for agreeing to take money from an FBI informant claiming to be a cannabis operator in 2013.
Jennifer Rodriguez's home was raided and her husband, Gerardo Rodriguez, was arrested on July 14th, 2022. A Facebook post on the Bell Gardens Uncensored Community Forum alerted the community about an "Operativo" (raid) at the former mayor's home. The post included a picture taken by a neighbor of what appear to be federal agents outside of Jennifer Rodriguez's home on Loveland Street. A CHP Police report also indicates that Gerardo Rodriguez was arrested while he was traveling on the I-5 South on the same day for possession for sale, and transportation of methamphetamine. Sources have told BASTAJENNIFER.COM that he remains out of jail in exchange for his cooperation in the investigation.

The CHP report indicates that Gerardo Rodriguez Violated 11378 of the Health & Safety Code which makes it a FELONY to possess methamphetamine with the intent to sell.
Jennifer isn't the first in her family to abuse her power and disgrace herself while on City Council. Her father, Rogelio Rodríguez, conspired with his then-colleague María Chacón to illegally appoint her as city manager while she was still on the City Council.
Rogelio Rodriguez's home located at 5647 Clara Street was the only residential property that was not taken under eminent domain when the Bicycle Club Casino needed land for their additional parking lot. It pays to have family on the City Council.
The purchase of Jennifer Rodriguez's home located at 5815 Loveland Street was partially funded with taxpayer money that she collected as salary while she was serving as a City Councilmember. The historic home that was built in 1939 and was purchased in February of 2004 for $425,000 is now valued at nearly $1 million .
